The Weiner Department Store gave me my first opportunity as an employee. I was 14 years old and was given a parttime job as a gift wrapper during the holiday season. The manager of the Washington Avenue Store noticed my determination as a young employee and soon put me out on the main floor selling in the Men's Department. I felt very honored and was called back to work during the Spring Holidays as a very young salesperson. Over and over I credit my first employer, Weiner's Department...
