Leon Yoder of Telford Leon Yoder, 66, of Telford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at his residence. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Lloyd “Poppy” and Viola (Sell) Yoder, and was a 1966 graduate of Pennridge High School. Memorial Services and Interment are private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Lloyd R. Yoder Memorial Fund, Penn Community Bank, 600 W. Leon and I shared an apartment for awhile. He really became a special person in my life. Leon helped me through buying my first new car. He had a great influence on my life and I loved listening to his stories of growing up. I only wish he could have written his book like he had planned about his life. I will miss him.

So much fun, so many memories with Leon. We dated for many years and remained friends thereafter. He was so much fun but life took a sad turn for him. I am grateful to God for his loving family and for the memories I will cherish forever.
