dear evelyn; i read in the morning paper about the death of your mother. my condolences to you and your family. Mrs. ball was a sweet lady and always nice to me as a kid. you and i lost touch many years ago, but i think of you often and have wondered what happened to you. i recently lost my mother also, aged 99+. looks like we are the older generation now. sincerely, kathryn powell
