Dear Farris Family,
Working with Leona was always a blast. No-one could make it work like she would. She got it done and done right, no matter who tried to get in her way, "She-rah! Princess of Power" would make it perfect. Some of us called her that at the Center, with all the respect and love that she deserved. Mostly I will remember how Leona always got along with the students, even as she got older, there was never an uncomfortable generation gap with her. Tough and loving, that was...

We will miss you much Grandma. You were a great lady to everyone around you. The Farris Christmas just won't be the same. Love and miss you.
