What a wonderful example. A visiting teacher for 51 years, and I find it difficult to be a faithful visiting teacher for each year. I was encouraged by great-grandma Christina Bowers to live a long life. Now I can have a new goal of 102. I love you all.

I was saddened to hear about Great Aunt Leona's death. At the same time, I am both amazed and happy that she led such a long and productive life. I visited with her shortly a couple of years ago in the nursing home in Salt Lake and was amazed then that she knew who I was-- as I had not seen her in the thirty years since Grandpa and Grandma Bowers (Abe & Beryl) died.
