I’m saddened by the news of Leona’s passing. I remember her generous spirit. She always had tortillas and beans on the table, all fresh, for my grandfather, the late Guy Pinnecoose Jr., when he would come to the dinner table. She took care of me while my mom was at work. I also remember her always helping me when I became an adult before I moved back up here to Oregon. I am thankful to have had her in my life and she is now with all of our loved ones and ancestors. We meet Leona during the annual Ignacio run camping event she held in her back yard. She welcomed us like she had known us forever. She was a thoughtful, beautiful, giving lady. She Will surely be missed by all her biker family from northern New Mexico.
