The Smith Family:

As we travel down the path of life, we must sometimes say goodbye to those we love. Take comfort in knowing that thoughts and prayers are with you.

I Thessalonians 4:14: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

To the family of Mrs. Smith Im so sorry for your loss. I just heard of Mrs Smith death today therefore didnt attend the service. The Smith Family was the 1st family I met when we moved to the Kentwood area. I have many memories of being at her home visiting with Joyce and other family members.
GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU. I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.
Clara Mathews, Kenwtood MI.

I had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Smith, and the pleasure of spending time with her only twice. What a soft spoken, elegant lady. No wonder my dearest friend in all the world, Sylvia, is such a refined and gracious lady, a reflection of lessons taught by her Mother. It is easy to see that much was expected of her, as well as much was given! A Mothers love is precious, but a Mothers admiration is priceless. I thank the Lord that He alone gave Sylvia and Al the strength to take care of her...

Sister Smith, when God made you, what a piece of Art. You are the most beautiful lady I have ever met. I had the great privilege of meeting you and your beautiful family at Bethel Pentecostal Church on Sherman Street in Grand Rapids as a teenager. Your daughter Joyce and I were great friends and grew in church and in the Lord. You have the greatest Spirit, Faith, Hope, Beauty and Compassion of any Mother that I have ever met. God called you home, what a great woman of God. I thank you...

To the Smith Family and all relatives. I had the wonderful privilege of knowing all of Sister Smith's Children.Meeting all of them at the Sherman Street Bethel Pentecostal Church. What a great family. I was a best friend of Joyce's a dear child with the greatest family and the most beautiful Mother in the world. God truly out did himself when he created Sister Smith. Not only was she the most beautiful lady I had ever seen but the most caring, compassionate, dedicated Woman of God. The...
