Leona E. Vogelsong

I use to live beside Leona for many years, till I moved to Harrisburg. I will never forget her sitting on the front porch of her home in the summertime. She always would put our trash cans in the yard on trash day, along with bring the newspaper over to share. My mother usually always gave Leona home cooked meals in trays she could easily microwave. My Mother and Leona shared a wonderful bond of friendship. She always looked after my Dad too, making sure he didn't do more than he should. I...

Your Mother was an outstanding woman, we will all miss her and our thoughts and prayers are with you durning this difficult time. Leona was a blessed neighbor to us and she and our Mom shared many a great conversations, each day that she visited with Mom and Dad. Please keep in touch with us, you have our number. You took such good care of your Mom, she is now in heaven looking over all of us.

Dear Dave, Yvonne and Family,
My most sincere sympathy on the passing of your beloved mother. I loved her so much and found great joy in talking with her at all of the 4th of July picnics. She was a kind and loving soul and I will miss her very much. May your memories and love comfort you.

I will always remember the way my aunt loved large family dinners at the holiday season and she lived life to the fullest. she was very active in her church and various social activities. and I only hope I can have the same zeal and zest for life in my older years as she did.
