Read MoreLen was a counselor at Camp Silver Creek in the early 60's. I was 8 years old and was afraid of the water. He picked me up and tossed me in the deep end, carefully watching me pop up and dog paddle my way to the edge of the pool. My fear was completely gone after that episode and I felt comfortable in the water for the rest of my life.

Len and I met at Boeing and became friends and we fished together a number of times. We lost touch after he retired and in trying to find information about him recently (2020) I was saddened to learn Len passed away in 2015.
Len was delightful company and a real gentleman and it was a privilege to have spent time with him.
RIP Len.
