Not sure what to say?

My Mom called me and told me that cousin Lenny had passed on. I understand he was in the same room at hospice that my Dad Victor was in almost 2 years ago. They were the last 2 men of their generation of Arnold/Arnopolin. I remember, with incredible fondness, Uncle Charlie and Aunt Bessie, and what a big deal it was when Charlie brought his last brother, Reuven, and his wife, Galya, over from the Ukraine for a 3 month visit to Chicago. And how much Reuven looked like my grandfather Solomon....

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Arnold. He delivered me 49 years ago and was my family doctor until I was in my 20's. I will always remember his kindness. I had an opportunity to speak to Dr. Arnold on the radio a few years ago. I am so pleased that I heard him on a radio show, called in, and spoke to him. He was a special man.

Our family was saddened to hear about Dr. Arnold. He was my doctor since the age of l6 and our family doctor..our four children (now adults) were very fond of him.When I had a girl after three boys, he and Dr. Peckler sent flowers to me at the hospital with a note saying that if it had been another boy, no flowers! My condolence to the family of Leonard Arnold

In the absence of my own Father, Dr. Arnold was like a second Father figure to me in my younger days. I have many wonderful memories of this man who nurtured me along in spirit, as I observed him lovingly raise his own family. God Bless you, Dr. Arnold!

Dear Arnold Family;

I would like to express my condolences at the loss of a truly great man. I have known "Doc" for many years and have known him both professionally and personally. As a professional he was beyond reproach, but on a personal note we shared a love of the Cubs, and Bears. He marvelled and "kvelled" at his participation at Fantasy Camp, and his "enshrinement" at Don & Charlies Restaurant in AZ, and lamented at the Cubs failures. We shared a great time with Doc and...

Our deepest regets to the family. Lenny was an old friend and colleauge.

All our love and thanks for the memories.

Dr. Arnold was such a special, caring person and we were so very blessed to have known him for all these years. I will always remember my 60th birthday, as we shared that day with you both. We will always cherish our visit, spending it with a dear and wonderful friend and meeting you, Dawn.
