Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC - Pen Argyl Obituary

Leonard R. “Lenny” Ball, 70, of Pen Argyl, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021, at his residence.

Born at Easton Hospital, November 23, 1950, he was the son of the late Leon R. and Philomena Ball.

After graduating from Pen Argyl High School in 1968, Leonard served in the US National Guard for 6 years.

Leonard was retired from R. R. Cortazzo and had also worked part time at Borger Speedway and East Penn Auto Sales.  He was a member of the former St. Rochs Catholic Church, West Bangor.

Leonard was an avid race fan, attending many NASCAR, Indy and Sprint Car races with his buddies.  When it came to anything about racing, he was the “Guru”.  His favorite band was the Ramones.

We have been blessed with the presence of Leonard in our lives.  He will be deeply missed by his sister, Susan M. Miller and her husband Fred of Albrightsville, PA, his nephew, David A. Harvey of York, SC, and many cousins.

Memorial services will be held, 1 PM Friday, April 9, 2021, at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl.  There will be a visitation beginning at 12 PM until time of services at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in St. Roch’s Cemetery, West Bangor.
