It's been a number of years since I took several French classes with Leonard but I still have great memories of his stories. When I reach that age, I hope I can be as lively and entertaining to my classmates as he was to me.

One memory of my uncle Leonard was from out 35 or 40 years ago, when I had just gotten my driver's license. Leonard and Pamela were moving from Chicago to a new home several hundred miles away -- I forget where -- and they needed their car driven. I was thrilled to be flown out to help with the driving, and the trip went well, but we got a bit behind schedule somehow, and I needed to get back for something important. I remember Leonard fondly, but am not sure which of my language groups he took part in. I think it might have been the Mesa Redonda (Spanish), which I founded some 20 years ago. We have had the pleasure here at Raliegh Hills Senor care, to have taken care of Leonard booth. He was a funny smart, and witty man And he had a wonderful smile :). And a very warm heart! We sincerely will miss him here, he was part of our little family!
