Not sure what to say?

Lenard had a gentle and kind spirit. He was as unique as the spelling of his name. My life has been enriched by having had the opportunity to perform with you. In 2024 - STILL - my condolences to the family.

I was thinking of you and discovered your obituary. So saddened to hear of your passing. You touched my life in a very specific way. I first saw the FAMU Marching 100 in 1972 on a high school band trip at the Gator Growl. You were the drill master. My life was changed forever. I am now a retired band director with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Ed. from Florida A&M University. Thank you.

RIP Leonard! I Even today I occasionally find myself humming "The Toreader's Song"..... One of my favorite instrumentals.

My condolences to Patrice and the family. Professor Bowie was a wonderful teacher and mentor.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Bowie family. Rest In Peace!!!!

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Our prayers and condolences go out to Patrick and the entire Bowie Family.

You will be greatly missed my friend. With all our love Michelle and Tom
