Brock, Leonard Vincent 86 March 19, 1926 Jan. 10, 2013 It has been said that in the end, we are all just a story. If you believe that to be true, then Len Brock was an epic novel. He believed that life is a journey. That life had to be more than about the destination. It had to be about the...

Not sure what to say?

Once met, never forgotten. I am blessed to be related to this unforgettable uncle of mine!

I wish I had looked for such a great man sooner. I wonder if he ever knew his grgrgrandfather, Samuel Haden Hanks, was a 1st cousin to President Abraham Lincoln. He might have found that relationship interesting. The mother of Samuel H. Hanks and Abe's mother, Nancy (Hanks) Lincoln, were half-sisters.

My condolences to the family for such a loss of a wonderful man!

Steve Whitlock

I dearly loved the man. For years we played pool together nearly every morning. Always drinking a cup of Constant Comment cinnamon tea. Jean would be in the kitchen cooking her massive pan of Lasagna to feed the entire family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Brian Gilham, friends forever.

A wonderful man, and a wonderful family - our heartfelt condolences....

My belated heart felt sympathy to the Brock family. I remember in 5th grade coach Brock praising me for my good push ups. Huge influence on me. I have alway's been honored to have known the Brock family.

Great family, great smile, great sense of humor, great responsibilities, great man, one of a kind, my Uncle Lenny - in my heart forever.(When you see them up there, hug my Mom & Dad for me and my brother too)

To the Brock family,
Having grown up in Holy Redeemer parish I got to know you and was privileged to have Len coach my basketball team. He imparted to me that being the biggest person on a team or in a class carried automatic recognition and therefore special responsibilities. He was a gentle giant who was one of my primary shapers in life and the choices I made including going to work with the Portland Police. I will always remember him and your family fondly.
With deepest sympathy,...

Len was always a kind and gentle man. I feel lucky to have known him. Penny Harrington.

A great man who was a blessing to our entire community. He will be greatly missed, but we are sure he is blessing Heaven right now.
