Mark and Family: So sorry to learn of Len's passing. He was such a great blessing and resource to me working with a number of Capital District organs. A true gentleman, fount of wisdom and knowledge with such great passion for his craft. He will be greatly missed and my condolences and sympathies to you all. Leonard rebuilt the organ at Lynnwood Reformed Church, where he became friends with my father, Robert P. Watson. Over the years it was always good to see him on his regular visits to service the organ, and to share stories of the early days in the 1960s. Condolences to his family at this time of loss. May you find comfort in treasuring the good work he did to bring music to so many.

I'll always be grateful for the knowledge I obtained by working with Len on many pipe organs, both in his shop and in the churches. He was like a father to me in many ways and his wife and kids were great friends and an honor and pleasure to know. Much love always, Mark, and the whole family.
