My son also has wonderful memories of this great man. He loved his store and him. The kindest man in the neighborhood.

There will never be anyone else like Leonard. Each time I went to pick up my mail, we would wind up having long meaningful conversations about Sicily. He would sometime tell me stories about what his mother cooked for him. I will always cherish his sauce and meatball recipe. I know that Leonard is an angel up there in heaven now and he has reunited with his his wife. My condolences to Francine and Lenny Jr.
