I knew Leonard in many ways: a friend, a teacher, and a neighbor. Leonard was always there when you needed support. He is missed.

I just learned of Leonard's passing. So sad. I worked with him many years ago (45) at NLRB in KC. He was such a nice man, a true gentleman. My condolences to his family.

I am very saddened to hear of Leonard's passing. I was so honored to have served as his physician until my retirement several years ago. He was a kind, thoughtful, intelligent gentleman and I will miss our visits. My sincerest of condolences to Leatha, their children, and, their many friends.

On behalf of the Lawrence High School Class of 1966, I offer comfort to Leatha, Teresa, Mary, John, Laura, Adalynn, and Clay. May your memories be of happiness and love. Leonard was an American Government teacher at LHS. The last time we met was not long ago when we shared some of our lives, and I was rather astonished by his accomplishments. I will carry my respect for him always.
