Not sure what to say?

May God embrace Len. I have great memories and affection for Len and his family who I met at the
Russian River. I bought my wife's engagement and
Wedding ring from Delmas and Delmas while I was still
In Vet school. I made payments interest free and Len insisted that I take the engagement ring to give to her
Before the set was paid off. Then when I graduated the following year Len wrote a letter of credit for us about my
Payment history since we needed a reference...

I was sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, he was bigger than life. I'm sorry to have missed the service. Thinking of you.

Len had the Newport 41 Another Girl and I had the Newport 41 Resolute in 1974, after buying it from Warren Westerhoff. Len and I competed in many regattas sharing wins and losses. For the Big Boat Series in the fall of 1974 Peggy and I had just been married in January of that year. Peggy put on her good clothes and came to the yacht club to watch the races in the main gallery. She was not in the habit of coming to the yacht club alone but as soon as she walked in the door Len came up to...

1982 - "Mirthmaker" (ex-Another Girl)

A man among men. Inter pares insignes - "Conspicuous among equals." A lion with a most tender heart. A visionary. At a time when private clubs were highly exclusive, you defied antiquated convention and reached out, daring to cross old, entrenched boundaries in sincere and humble friendship, using the power of your warmth, the strength of your character and the force of your personality to hold sway with all whom you touched. You were every ounce of what it means to be, and the very...

He was great sailor and Commodore of the St. Francis Yacht Club, and will be dearly missed by all.

I remember traveling with your Dad, Mickey and I to the Union Square store during school breaks where we got to stuff store mailings and see what it was like to be good working girls during junior high! We even got paid, and enjoyed a shopping outing at lunch!
I also relish memories of afternoon swim parties in your backyard pool. Your Mom and Dad always ensured that everyone felt welcome in your home. It was a place of laughter, joy and openness.
Your Dad was incredibly creative,...

So sorry for your loss. I remember your father as a wonderful person - a gentle and kind man. I share your sorrow as our families end this year with the loss of our parents. With deepest sympathy,
Barbara Simmons

Dear ones, we have such fond memories of both of your parents. They were a special couple with wonderful sense of humor. ANOTHER GIRL is just one example !!! They did know how to have fun!!! and shared the joy with all of you "girls". We had the pleasure of watching you all grow up At Tinsley Island and here in Marin. Guenther went to Delmas and Son when he was in charge of SYRA TROPHIES. Len loved helping him choose the best ones. He was one of a kind. With deepest sympathy, Sasha & Guenther...

Len was my landlord for many years... I would always enjoy our conversations when he would visit the office.
He was devoted to his wife and family and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
