LEONARD FRANCIS FAY Lake Station, Indiana Age 52, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Leonard was a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and a member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church in New Chicago. He was a self-employed carpenter and loved helping other people and working with his hands. Leonard is survived by his loving wife, Ellen; sons: James (Chris) Motts of Lake Station, Michael Fay of Portage; mother, Juanita Bryan of Hobart; brothers: James (Sue) Fay of Hobart, Dan (Kathy) Fay of Hobart; sisters: Joann (Don) Evans of Portage, Carol (Jim) Fitzgerald of Iowa; sister-in-law, Maria Fay; nieces, nephews and numerous family members and friends. His daughter, Christina Fay, brother, John "Sonny" Fay and father, Francis Leonard Fay preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 21, 2006 beginning with 9:30 a.m. prayers at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart and then proceeding to Assumption BVM Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, with Rev. Jon J. Plavcan celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation is Thursday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a 4:00 p.m. prayer service at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart. www.reesfuneralhomes.com
