Dear Jan, Joan, and David Figgers:

I have very clear memories of your dad, even though I only knew him from ages 2 to 9. To me at the time, he was a tall, handsome man with curly, light brown hair and a deep voice. I was a little bit scared of him, but I knew he was kind and cared about his family. Gee, any guy who put a goldfish pond in his back yard must be alright! I picture him in his grey (or blue?) work shirt, probably with his name on it, from J&L Steel Company, and can see...
