To Candy and Entire Family,

Although I did not know your dad, I am saddened for your loss. I'm just so glad that you were able to see him so often as you traveled to Grand Rapids. You are in our prayers.

My deepest sympathies to Len's family. He and Gerry were often referred to as my "Grand Rapids parents" by Jack Richards back in the 70's when we first joined Ada Church, and they took us under their wings. I was honored to serve as a Deacon with Len, played bridge with him and Gerry, enjoy their wonderful hospitality, and was the recipient of their love. Len was the perfect gentle, caring man. We first met Leonard here at Clark on Keller Lake. It was apparent upon first meeting that Leonard was a kind and gentle man of great character. He and Phil shared a common background of Navy careers and a common interest in art. Phil was on his way to share another conversation when word of his passing reached us. He will be greatly missed. Please accept our sincere sympathy.
