Not sure what to say?

The legal profession has lost one of the finest trial judges we ever had in Dallas County, not to mention the loss of a great friend and a lawyer's lawyer. He will be missed.

Tyler Junior College sends condolences to Leonard's wife Clara and his Family. He was very proud of the fact that he started his college career at Tyler Junior College in 1938 and loved to attend TJC Dallas Chapter gatherings with Clara--he would always jokingly ask, “Why more of his classmates did not attend the event?" In 1999 the TJC Alumni Association honored Judge Hoffman with our Outstanding Public Service Award. He was one of our greats and will be missed.

I offer the Hoffman Family my condolences and pray that the "peace of God that excels all thought will guard your hearts."- Philippians 4:7

Deepest Sympathy,
J.Murray

GOD bless you, our favored & esteemed brother of the Valley of Dallas. Your virtue, honor and reputation supported with dignity the character you bear. "Well done, thou good & faithful servant!" Proud to call you Brother.

Rest in peace, Old Warrior. I was proud to have served with you.

Judge Leonard Hoffman was a "Man for All Seasons". He was an outstanding jurist, a
wonderful Family Man, a great Lion and a
good friend. He will be missed by all who knew him and the community.
Sincere condolences to Clara, Leonard and the other members of the Family.

I was just told of Judge Hoffmans passing, he was a great friend, Judge and member of our community who will be long remembered by many of us.

Clara, I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
I remember when we had a masonic meeting at your house and you helped us to get dental work for Melissa our special daughter. My niece just lost yesterday her battle with Cysticfibrosis after 53 years...You are special in our hearts and Heaven is a better place. Love ya, Dana Smith Perry-Gov. app. Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities. Brownwood, Texas

I am so sorry to hear of Judge Hoffman's passing. He will be greatly missed. He was a sweet and kind man, as well as a wonderful Judge. When I lived in Dallas, I was a working as court clerk, and he was often our visiting Judge. I always enjoyed working with him. His passing is a great loss to the community and the legal system.
