Not sure what to say?

Here we are almost 10 months later and I still cry all the time... It all just seems like a bad dream that I can't wake up from. I want nothing more than to see your smile and feel like comfort I felt around you. I miss the advice you gave me, the answers that you always had... I just miss you in my life. I love you daddy. I hope you're having fun up there.

I met Buddy after my family moved to 92nd Avenue. I was eight years old. Growing up, he was my friend, mentor and hero. To him, I was simply, "Cousin." Evelyn, you have my deepest sympathy and prayers. Chanel, Pierre, and Lauren, I have never seen your Dad happier than when he posed for photos with you all at Pierre's HS graduation - it was a moment I'll always remember. Needless to say, this holiday season, I am "thankful" for knowing Leonard Horne and his entire family.

Daddy,
The tears have not stopped just yet as I hope one day this will get easier. You will never be replaced. I will miss you forever. I know you are making them laugh as hard up there as you made us laugh down here. I love you forever... Chanel

Evelyn May God comfort you and your family during this difficult time.I just heard about Leno passing and I am praying for you and your children.

R.I.P. Daddy...You were the best person I've ever met. You were funny, sweet, caring, and hilarious. You did thousands of things for other people that you didn't have to, just out of pure love. No one can ever replace what you meant to me. Everyday it gets harder knowing it's another day without you. But I know you're the one giving me the strength to keep going. I love you daddy. You'll always be in my heart, 24/7, 365 days of the year.

Buddy will be missed. My prayers are with the Horne family. May Buddy's memories bring the family comfort. Love always

My deepest condolences to the entire Horne family. We grew up with (Buddy) and he taught us a lot growing up like playing pool, being men, playing basketball and staying positive. He had such a wonderful personality and was always joking around with us younger guys. He was my friend and I will miss him. God Bless the family -Tiger&Ricky of Utica Place

Growing up on 92nd Avenue, the Horne family had a positive impact on my life. Though my memories of "Buddy" are few, they are vivid. I wish I had words that could comfort you but nonetheless my thoughts and prayers are with the Horne family and friends. May God give you strength during this difficult time.

Dear Horne Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
We are sorry for your loss.
Love,
Jesse, Barry and Donna Brady
