I want nothing more than to see your smile and feel like comfort I felt around you. I miss the advice you gave me, the answers that you always had... I just miss you in my life. I love you daddy. I met Buddy after my family moved to 92nd Avenue. I was eight years old. Growing up, he was my friend, mentor and hero. To him, I was simply, "Cousin." Evelyn, you have my deepest sympathy and prayers. Chanel, Pierre, and Lauren, I have never seen your Dad happier than when he posed for photos with you all at Pierre's HS graduation - it was a moment I'll always remember. Needless to say, this holiday season, I am "thankful" for knowing Leonard Horne and his entire family.

My deepest condolences to the entire Horne family. We grew up with (Buddy) and he taught us a lot growing up like playing pool, being men, playing basketball and staying positive. Growing up on 92nd Avenue, the Horne family had a positive impact on my life. Though my memories of "Buddy" are few, they are vivid.
