Not sure what to say?

To the Jardine family, I knew Len and John at Purdue University. I played fullback there and worked with Lenny and Sam Joyner. Their leadership and character were unmatched and I feel blessed to have known both of them and Maryanne. My prayers are with you as we just found out about their passing.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the Jardine Family for their recent losses.
I was 2 years behind Len at St Ignatius grammer school. I always looked up to the older fellas. Len was one of my early heroes. I watched him play sports at Loyola High School even though I attended a differnt school.
I was an athlete myself so when I got older I was able to play in pickup basketball games with Len in the St. Ignatius school yard. This was quite a thrill for me. Len was like a...

To the Jardine Family,
I work at NACSCORP in Oberlin Ohio, and I very thankful to have know Len. He was a leader of incredible character. He had a way of talking to you and inspiring you, regardless of your role in the organization. Many self help books teach of the character that just flowed naturally out of Len. It was an honor to know him. My prayers will be with you as you mourn the loss of your parents.

I played basketball against Len in the 1954-55 season when I played at Leo H.S. and Loyola Academy was in the So. Section that year. That January we both started the Catholic League All-star game held at Loyola Univ. Len was a fierce competitor, a very fine player and a good guy. I remember him well and am sorry for your loss. For those of us fortunate enough to play football at Loyola during the "Jardine years", Len Jardine was the ultimate coach, mentor and role model. After returning to Loyola as it's head coach in 1960 he took a program that was the doormat of the Chicago Catholic League and turned it into one of the best high scool programs in the nation. Coach Jardine was loved and respected by all of his former players and we are devasted by his loss. My sincere condolences to all the Jardine children as you...

To the Jardine family,

I knew both of your parents many years ago when they were at Brown. They were a golden couple who brought light to every occasion. We are so sorry to learn of their passing and wish you God's peace.

My prayers go out to your family, I was saddened to hear of your loss.
I am one of the son's of Len's cousin (Charles H.). A cherished childhood memory is of Len's father, James, showing slides of the Rosebowl that Len took part in as a coach on our living room wall. It was a good example at an early age of what is possible to achieve in life.

To the Jardine Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss of both Marianne and Lenny. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time.

Jardine Family,

I was at Loyola Academy when Len came on board as our football coach. He immediately, through his leadership and dedication began the turn around in the program. He inspired many of us with his driveand determination to succeed not only on the field but in life. He has accomplished the goal many strive for...to make this a better place during his time here on earth. He was truly a man for others
