Not sure what to say?

I was the receptionist at KWAV for 21 years. We use call him "the weapon". I loved talking to him. He was very sweet. RIP "Weapon". Hugs Debbie Blake

Len was the nicest, kindest person anyone could hope to meet! I loved every interaction we had over the years in radio. We shared many laughs and he always left me smiling. Deb and family, I'm very sorry for your loss. Len and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Len and I shared many good times on the high school football team with the rest of "our gang", but my favorite memory was the summer he and I managed to get hired as carpenter's helpers. We spent that hot summer driving 8 penny nails into the roofs of a large new development.
We went from our few dollar allowances to about
$38/week. But we also learned together about real work and how to treat hand blisters!
Len will always be a part of my fond memories.

So sorry to learn of Len's passing! I worked with Len at KKHI way back in 1968-69 when we were both young. Len was a sweetheart of a fellow whom I have never forgotten. I had no automobile and once on my lunch hour Len walked with me to The Emporium where I purchased a set of luggage. Len hauled it back to the station for me and I later took a taxi home with my purchase. How many young men would do a favor like that for a co-worker! Len Mattson, you will always be in my favorite memories.

Our condolences to Deb and the rest of Len's family.
His personality and smile are memories that remain with us since our days at Bloomfield High school.
We have lost a wonderful person.

Miles and years cannot erase the pure joy and laughter Len brought to my life. When he realized that you Deb was exactly what he needed, it was what he deserved all along. I extend my sincere sympathy and love to you.

Such a pleasure to have been able to work and know Len.

Len was such a caring and kind soul. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
