Wylie Elementary students payed tribute to the United States military and honored two World War II veterans during a very special Veteran’s Day program Nov. 11.
This marked the second year in a row that the second-graders have put on a stirring program on Veteran’s Day. The students sang the songs of each of the four branches of the military and also sang a beautiful rendition of God Bless America.
The Wylie High School Jazz Band also played patriotic songs.

Carol, I know how close you are to your family. Your father's passing is a great loss. I have discovered that our pain often balances our love. With that thought in mind, treasure your grief as dearly as your love for your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
