Not sure what to say?

My wife were talking today about some of the great teachers we had back in high school and college. Dr. Pepkowitz's name came up almost immediately. I was fortunate to have him as my Biology teacher at Erie Community College in 1971. He was terrific, and now, somewhat very belatedly, I wanted to express my deepest condolences to his family and my thanks to a man and a great guy who helped me navigate biology like no other.

Dear Selma, Sammy & Roberta, Becky & Gerry and family: We were very sad to learn about the loss of Uncle Leonard, please accept our deepest expression of sympathy. We have many wonderful memories about boating and other activities over many years and in many places. You should be comforted by the fact that Uncle Len led a very productive and active life for many years and greatly contributed to the life of the Jewish people. I wanted to express my condolences to your family-Uncle Lenny was always a gentle and kind man-My mom(mildred miller) will miss him. She always spoke of him with pride. He will be missed. Barbara Speller

Dear Selma
Harry and I were saddened to hear of Leonard's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Our many visits to you and Leonard bring back fond memories of our time together which was most precious.

Dear Aunt Selma, Sammy and Roberta, Becky and Gerry, Belle, Elise, Leslie and the rest of your immediate family, please accept our condolences on the passing of Uncle Lenny. To us, he was always the patriarch of our family and Dad ("Uncle Zelly") always spoke of his big brother with awe, tremendous respect and admiration. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. With love, Steve, Bonnie, Kenny, Scotty & Suzi Pepper

We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Leonard's passing. It's hard to believe that my dad -- his baby brother -- has been gone 15 years next week but we always take great comfort in our memories and hope you will, too.

Warmest wishes, Terri, Ken and Zelli Gavulic

Dear Selma, Sammy and Roberta, Becky and Gerry, and all the family,
Our hearts and prayers are with you. We send condolences and sympathy and fond memories of Uncle Lenny. With love, David and Monica Michael & family

All:

Our thoughts and sympathies are with you all. We wish we could have been there for the service. I know that Leonard's sister and my grandmother Mildred wishes she was able to be there as well.

Warmest regards,

Jeff, Chrissy, Ava and Nathan
