Not sure what to say?

You are in my heart now and always, my dear friend. Until we meet again...

Our family met Leonard on the soccer field where our Granddaughter, Madeline, was on a team with Breanne. He was the most positive human being we have ever met...and we will miss him. He was such a great source of 'happy' everytime we saw him. May he rest in peace and may God grant his family comfort.

I feel incredibly honored to have known Leonard and called him 'friend'. He was an absolutely beautiful human being and he deserved so much better than what this world had to offer him. He touched my life and gave me hope when I needed it most; and I will never, EVER forget him. I love you, Leonard...I will carry you with me forever.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the Pickens clan, so sorry to hear of your loss. I grew up acroos the street and Becky was my best friend till they moved to their new home in Chubbuck. They were my favorite people having lots of fun and many memories made. I'm sure Leonard will be missed terribly, sad knowing you and the world has lost such a wonderful man.

After recognizing each other and chatting for a few minutes I could tell then and there that he had grown into a wonderful person. It had been years up to that point that I had seen him. I have good memories of him and all of you during the years of being neighbors across...

My thoughts and prayers are with Leonard's family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Leonard. We grew up together and had many fun times. He was talented in so many ways. My heart and prayers go out to the Pickens family.

I was so sorry to learn about Leonard's passing. He was a wonderful, talented person.

Everybody loved Leonard. What a wonderful person and friend. He always knew how to make others feel important. I worked at JB's with Leonard. We went to aerobic classes together and played tennis. He made everything so much fun. We had several classes together at ISU; astronomy and calculus. He came to every astronomy class because he found it so interesting. However, about the only time he came to the calculus class was for the tests. He breezed through the class and didn't have to...
