Not sure what to say?

I miss Bob every time I get my infusion! It wasn't a great week if we didn't talk Yankees/Sox or other sports like tennis and he'd humor me about my golf game! Bob and Don Shukan were also my son's pediatricians! I also miss your mom Adrienne who used to accompany Bob on occasion. Two of the nicest people I've ever known! Thank you Bob and Adrienne

I miss Bob at the D´amour Cancer Center and BayState. He nicknamed me Mayor of the D´amour Cancer Center. I miss talking baseball with him, talking about our families etc.. He was also my son´s pediatrician! I know he was 93 but a great man and friend died way too early. Your mom was a sweetheart of a person as well!

There will never be another pediatrician as kind and sweet as you were. Your smile and tender words will never be forgotten.

Bob was one of the nicest men I’ve ever known. I knew him first as my son’s doctor then became very good friends while getting our infusions at BayState. He always called me the “Mayor” of the D’Amour Cancer Center. He was also the nicest Red Sox fan! I’m a Yankee fan yet we never busted each other just talked baseball! I’m going to miss him and Adrienne ! God bless him, Adrienne and the Plotkin family!

Dr. Plotkin was so many things; a devoted Red Sox fan, an amazing pediatrician, doting family man, an avid skier, hiker, runner, symphony supporter, with a passion for life and a heart of gold. My family and I remember him with love and are so grateful to have known him.

We met Bobby and Adrienne in 1973 when we moved back to Massachusetts for my husband to join a practice in pediatric surgery in Springfield. Barry was a friend and colleague of Bobby for all these years until Barry died a few years ago. We saw Bobby and Adrienne at so many of the functions given by the Department of Pediatrics at Baystate, so many holiday parties, pediatric residents' graduations, many medical events. Knowing Bobby through all these years, I can speak for both my husband...

Plotkin Siblings. Your Dad was one of my all time favorites . For 40 years he was our children's pediatrician. His heart and his kindness were above all his many wonderful characteristics the best. Although there were times that I swore I never would come back again to wait over an hour with 4 sick kids in the waiting room once I got in I always knew why. His patience and caring and his concern for each and every patient was so evident. When I once carried Linda in with a broken leg,...

My brother was one of Dr. Plotkin’s first patients, he also pierced my ears as a child way back in the 60’s. When I had my two children he was their pediatrician as well. Dr. Plotkin was a soft spoken, gentle man who put you at ease with his kind words and smile. Rest In Peace.
