Not sure what to say?

I am Leonard's second cousin, once removed. As a child,. I visited with Sidney and Mollie with my parents, Gertrude and Sol Levine. I remember their lovely ranch in Newstead, and the jelly jars on the table with spoons in them. Once when Leonard was home from college he showed me how to use a slide rule. I don't remember how to use the slide rule, but the memory of his patience with a little girl I will never forget. I remember he was very good looking and that impressed me! I also...

I worked for Leonard for almost 20 years. He was more than a boss he was a teacher, a mentor and more. He wanted you to understand the business. His philosophy was if you could teach someone what you know, you could move up. A philosophy that tried to adopt in my career.

My deepest Condolences to the entire Polaner family. I loved working side by side with both Leonard & Ellen. The Polaners were & are wonderful people.

My first job out of high school was working for M. Planer & Sons. 1971-1992 Lenny's father Sydney and aunt Mollie (as we called her) were the nicest people. When Sydney passed away, Lenny (as we all called him) was in charge. I have many fond, funny, and some not so funny memories of working there. Lenny always treated his employees with respect and listened to them when they had ideas to make things better, whether it be from the factory worker or office personnel. My sincerest condolences...

It was my honor to work for Leonard for 28 years. He was a kind, generous man and truly cared for his employees. Bless you Leonard for all you did for us.

I am so grateful for all the time I get to care for you and for all our endless laughter and how you would tell me I such be a comedian because am too funny. I can´t stop crying and still in shock over all of this happening so fast. I was happy I get to say good bye and even get to shave your...
