Leonard Pullman, 88, of Siesta Key, formerly of Riverwoods, Ill., died June 17, 2009.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Toale Brothers Funeral Homes, Gulf Gate Chapel.
Survivors include wife Norma; daughter Suzanne C.; two sons, Craig and Christopher; sister Elaine Golding of Freehold, N.J.; and two grandchildren,
Jack and Olivia.
Leonard was born in New York City and graduated from New York University in 1939.
He served in World War II with the 603rd Engineer Camouflage Battalion and participated in the Battle of the Bulge.
Prior to moving to Siesta Key in 1971, he was vice president of marketing for the Home Juice Company of Melrose Park, Ill.
Here he began the "Getting To Know You" welcoming service, retiring in 1995.
