Lenny "brightened up" a room! Six years ago we moved west yet I still maintained close contact with Lenny via phone calls. Occasionally I would mail Lenny some basketball data. The man loved the game and being a couple former Jerry Bush basketball players at UT, we enjoyed endless conversations about the game. Wonderful story teller and I still chuckle at some of his clever anecdotes. Raised in Richmond, Indiana, we had some serious conversations about the KKK. He taught me a lot! ...

Dear Rhodes family. Lenny and I had alot in common. I was a great fan of his while attending TU. We shared the same birthday on the 8th of May, when the war ended in Europe. And we also shared Stone Oaks and the Toledo museum cook book. May he rest in peace . Gary & Nancy Beren.
