Leonard M. Shlain

Dear Ina and all the family,

Although I knew that Leonard was ill and had left a message for Ina some weeks ago, I was shocked and saddened by his death.

He was such a vital person who gave energy to everyone. He also gave us much knowledge and opened new vistas. He was remarkable professionally and personally. He was such a caring person.

We who knew him are fortunate. Those who will know him in the future from his vision and as an author are also...

I was deeply saddened to learn of Lennie's death. He was a wonderful man, full of life, generosity, and charm. His creative intellect, vivacious personality and warmth will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Everything good about Lennie will live on in his children and grandchildren.

Our deepest condolences to the Shlain and Levin families. We regret that we did not have the opportunity to know Leonard as we only met his a few times at family functions. From what we have read about him he will be sorely missed not only by family but way beyond.
