Not sure what to say?

I remember meeting Leonard when I lived on his rental property on 931 Rubel St. I fixed the water heaters and new A/C's there then was invited to his house on the river to fix his A/C there also. He paid me well. That was in 1984. Met his wife Rosemary and his daughter Susie also. Great people.

Oh, I was so saddened to hear on NPR that Leonard is no longer with us. I have such fond memories of him! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Rosemary. I hope that you find Peace in the days to come.

Leonard Skinner was my coach at Stilwell Jr High and at Robert E. Lee High School. I played both basketball and baseball under his leadership.
He was one of my mentors and that is why I am a teacher/coach/athletic director in DCPS now! Coach you will be always remember and missed!

I did not have the honor of meeting Mr. Skinner. From what I read and have learned over the years he was a wonderful tough man. I do want to express my deepest sypathy to his family and friends at this time. My prayers are with you. God Bless.

I am sorry for your loss. God Bless.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
