Not sure what to say?

Remembering a wonderful man on the anniversary of his passing.

Coach Smith lead the ‘59 WHS team to an undefeated season, the only one to (2001) date to not have a loss. That’s 62 years.

He was a great man, kind to all.

Rest in Peace Coach.

I am so very sorry to hear about Coach Smith...he was a very, very nice man! Much love to his wife and family. Now my David has a great coach to talk football with in Heaven!

It was an honor to play for him....'what the devil'...

Our sincerest condolences to Mrs. Smith and family from Bob China and Skip Kirchenheiter,'57 on the passing of our Mentor, and Role Model. God bless!

My condolences to the family of Leonard Smith. I taught at Wallington H.S. 1953-54 and remember Len's popularity and coach's voice well. 1951-52 I taught at Lincoln School with Molly Pluhar. So sad. We were all so young.

Our deepest sympathy to the Smith family for their loss. Mr. Smith Sr. will always be remembered for his presence, spirit and encouragement he gave to the boys in the sport he loved so much...... Wrestling!! May his kind soul rest in peace.
