Leonard Spilman

How saddened to hear about Leonard ... I was fortunate to be his ninth grade English teacher (at the time I was "Mrs. Keyser") and remember his wit, his quick and agile mind, his lack of ego in his youthful accomplishments as bridge expert, and his warmth as a person. He was an earnest and diligent student and an insightful contributor to class discussions. I suspect he carried these characteristics into his adult life.... My heartfelt condolences to Leonard's family and friends.
