Uncle Leonard was a gentle, kind and caring soul. He was a wonderful father and loving husband and truly a family man. He took us under his wing when times were difficult and always had a good story, hardy laugh and caring eyes for family. I know he will be deeply missed, but our memories of his big heart will see his family through the days ahead. May peace be with them and those who loved him. Niece Kathy

My condolences to the Stankiewicz family. I will always cherish and remember Mr. Stankiewicz as the best softball coach I ever had. His style, his patience, his wisdom, and love for the game inspired me and others to be the best we could be. May he rest in peace.

To the Stankiewicz Family
Sorry to hear about the death of your father. I will lift up the family in prayer. Remember the good times and keep his legacy alive through the generations.

I am also one of the Wizner Kids from across the street, and "Uncle" Leonard will always be in my memories as a kind man, who had beautiful snapdragons (they intrigued me) along the driveway, and always was there to answer a question or give a helping hand to our large family. Aunt JoAnne and Uncle Leonard will always be a part of the Wizner aural history as well tell stories of Crapo Street, including pears for Halloween treats, swimming in the pool and many, many more great times. God...

As one of the Wizner kids from across the street on Crapo, I'll always think of him as "Uncle Leonard." I remember him smiling and happy all the time, and how kindly he treated me, and all the neighbor kids. A gentle soul, may he rest in peace. All my sympathies,
Marion Wizner

Sorry to hear about Uncle Len, I loved him very much and will miss him dearly. We will not be able to come up, Kyles graduation is this week also. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. He will be with Aunt Joann now and not in pain anymore. I hope this is some kind of comfort.
