uncle sonny was one in a million.....thekindest soul...he was toldby his father that he was incharge ofhis kid sister-mymom-bobbie.....he heldtrue to this responsibilty, and extended it to all.....he and hisbrotherbud purchased a convertible. for mymom,and sent her off in 1955 to saginaw michigan, after the wedding to my dad,jimmy...and said to her please dont comeback!!! sonny. was always there, forthe happy and sad times. He never missed a birthday graduation or any excuse to be kind to...

I’m so sorry to hear of Lenny’s passing . My condolences to his family . I retired as the National President of AFGE but I’ll always remember how I started as a union steward in the Dickinson Bldg at SSA headquarters. There I met Lenny. He was also a union steward and we represented and helped so many workers. Lenny was quite the character- always with something funny to say but he had a fire inside for fairness and justice. He contributed so much in building a strong diverse membership ....
