ZGODA-Leonard F. Of Depew, NY, November 17, 2007. Brother of the late Stella McCarthy, Cecilia Klaia, Frances Burda and Helen Wittmeyer; uncle of Barbara Klaia, Margaret (Ted) Meyers and Edward Wittmeyer; great-uncle of five. Family will receive relatives and friends at the WENDEL & LOECHER, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 27 Aurora St., Lancaster, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Church, Depew, NY, Wednesday morning at 10 AM. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Leonard. We worked together for many years at Children's hospital. He was a unique human being and we shared a love of poetry. I will never forget his ability to imitate his co-workers. He had a love of trains and so often shared many train stories with my son when he visited the hospital, always telling him where the next train show would be. My son loves trains to this day and often still mentions Leonard and his stories (my son is now 40 yrs....
