Not sure what to say?

Aunt Leone was everyone's friend. She was always ready to listen to what was going on in your life and had a sincere interest in those around her. Her bravery,in face of her illnesses, and common sense were signals to all of us as to how to handle life. It was a privilege to know her. Thank you to the family for honoring her memory with the well-written obituary. She was loved and respected.

Even though I didn't know her well, I always remember Aunt Leone as very warm and affectionate toward great-nieces and -nephews that she rarely saw. She always seemed very interested in us. (Stan Long's daughter.)

I spent a couple of summers in Escondido with Uncle Bubby, Aunt Leone and my three cousins. I still remember that long non-stop drive from Tennessee to Calif. in a very big station wagon. We played a lot of games.

I'll always remember Aunt Leone's wonderful lasagna that she made for us when Tuta (Aunt Elizabeth) and I visited back in 1964.
