I never knew Mrs. Cocke, but as a Cocke descendant, I appreciate the many years of research that she and the late Mrs. Virginia Webb Cocke devoted to their two volumes of Cocke genealogy, which I own. It is especially commendable that they both were not Cocke descendants themselves but devoted so much time to researching their husbands' families.
