Leonie DARLING passed away in Sydney, New South Wales. The obituary was featured in The Daily Telegraph on July 15, 2011.
It was with great sadness today that I learnt of Leonie's passing.
I was fortunate enought to have met her not so long ago and listen to her speak on the beautiful Vallhund breed,we have lost a true champion for the Vallhunds, my deepest sympathy to her family and friends.Lorraine and Rosie

Farewell Leonie, we have lost a wonderful, feisty lady, with a heart of gold.
Your passion for Vallhunds has left the breed in a much better place, and your wonderful book and database will be a lasting contribution for the future.
I have so many great memories of hilarious conversations and intense discussions on anything from dog breeding to recipes.
