Frederic, Leonise Mary Morin A resident of Gonzales and a retired housekeeper for Dr. Abramson, she died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Gonzales Heath Care Center. She was 92 and a native of St. Amant. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Thursday, July 20, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant, on Friday from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Jon Koehler, celebrant. Entombment in Holy Rosary Mausoleum. She is survived by her six daughters, Vernice Johnson, North Carolina, Delores and husband Gary Babin, St. Amant, Elsie and husband Sylvester Moran of Maurepas, Eva and husband Bradford "Buddy" Gonzales, St. Amant, Sonja Moran, Maurepas, and Joan and husband James "Jimmy" Bercegeay, Gonzales; three sons, Dewey and wife Elsie Fredric, St. Amant, Dennis and wife Tonie Frederic, Galvez, and Kenny and wife Carol Frederic, Sorrento; 39 grandchildren and numerous stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Johney Sidney Frederic Sr.; parents, Armand Pierre and Eva Margaret Templet Morin; a son, Johney Frederic Jr.; daughter, Mary Frederic; and six brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dewey Frederic Jr., Sylvester Moran Jr., Lane Frederic, Mickey Bercegeay, Barry Millien and Casey Gonzales. She was a Gold Star mother with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
