Not sure what to say?

John and family I am so sorry to hear of Lermas passing .. she was an amazing person .. thoughts and prayers to you

Lerma was a colleague , a friend , and a mentor to me at SPHS . She helped me through many difficult situations . The world is a lesser place without her . Good bye , Lerma , you were a big sister to me. I will always remember the first time I saw you .

I found Mrs.Chin to have many gifts and talents that she readily shared w her students. Early 70´s I was impressed to witness Lerma painting a life sized oil self portrait in her Milburn home. As a SPHS teacher, she was fearless in teaching history that had us explore events outside of our textbooks. I admired her very much. Remembered w respect RIP Lerma

Lerma was a colleague , a mentor, and a friend . She was responsible for getting me through a great many difficult situations . I was very fortunate to have known her . Good bye ,Lerma , you were a big sister to me .

I had Mrs.Chen as a teacher at SPHS. I remember her making class interesting for us and she ran a club that took us on amazing trips. May she Rest In Peace.

She was my favorite teacher. Ms. Chen taught me to think outside the box. She encouraged us to question everything. She would have us arrange our desks into a huge circle and get us to talk. Class with her wasn´t passive. She wanted us engaged. She had a profound effect on me and I have shared my stories of being her...

Nancy and I offer our sincerest condolences to the entire family. Accomplished people like Larma make life a little richer for everyone. She will be missed but not forgotten. The Browns
