With our deepest sympathy We will always love & miss him

Chef Leroy ... he helped me become the chef I am today. He always pushed me to better in the kitchen. For finals week I chose a recipe from French laundry.. now doing a thomas Keller recipe as a student would not be easily replicated. He told me if I nail this he would pass me.... Nervously I brought up my dish .. watched him take a bite ... he paused and said it was one of the best. I will forever be thankful for his wisdom . My condolences to his family.

Chef Baldwin was a great mentor. His knowledge and expertise has given many students a new look into the culinary arts and hospitality industry. I had the pleasure of his teaching techniques. I thought I was pretty good in the kitchen but come to find out, there was so much more to learn. I continue with my baking and culinary creations even after 15 years of schooling. I had the pleasure of working with Chef Baldwin. He was an inspiration and a good friend. He had so much compassion for his students and colleagues. He was a valuable part of the hospitality industry.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Denise, and your family. I feel truly blessed to have had him in my life-through our work together, our conversations, and the many friendships he gently wove around all of us. He carried himself with such kindness and grace, a true gentleman with a deep love for people and for the connections he created throughout the Culinary and Hospitality community. To one of the most important people in my life my brother Leroy. I will always remember you for being the most thoughtful and caring person in the world who was always there for me when I need him. You where there for your whole family and would help anyone in need of help. There will never be another you the most kindest person in the world. You will always be with me, and I love you dearly.
