My heartfelt sympathy to the Battle family. May God blessings be upon you in your time of sorrow. I never had the honor or privilege to meet Mr. Battle but everything I've read says he was truly a gift from God. Peace and blessings.

To The Battle Family my condolences may you trust in God with all your heart 1Pet.5:7 "Throw your anxiety on God because he cares for you".

I am so sorry for your loss. May the Most High God (Psalm 83:18) comfort you as you mourn your loved one.

I offer my deepest sympathy to the Battle family. I met Mr. Battle only one in Deal MD the weekend after 9/11 when he was playing music on a restaurant dock. We had the chance to talk quite a bit that afternoon and I will never forget him. I'm a former Marine and we spoke about his servise and he later sent me a packet about his Airman days, which I still have. You should all be very proud of your father. Mr. Battle! May God Bless you! A drummer, a teacher (Surratsville Jr High) and a advisor! You took our class to the Redskins Game back in the 70's! A wonderful teacher and a friend, Mr. Battle, you will be greatl y missed.
