I offer my deepest sympathy to the Battle family. I met Mr. Battle only one in Deal MD the weekend after 9/11 when he was playing music on a restaurant dock. We had the chance to talk quite a bit that afternoon and I will never forget him. I'm a former Marine and we spoke about his servise and he later sent me a packet about his Airman days, which I still have. You should all be very proud of your father.
