Dear Berndt Family,

My mother and I would like to extend our love and sympathy to all of you.

I have wonderful childhood memories of staying with Aunt Gladys and Uncle Lew, Nick and Danny. I had to chuckle at the line in the obituary about the cat, Elvis. When we were growing up it was a dog named Chigger.

May God grant you peace and healing and when the time is right the wonderful memories of fun, laughter and love will confort you.
