Not sure what to say?

As a Team Couple for Engaged Encounter here in Houston, we spent many retreat weekends with Msgr. Braden. He loved being with the young engaged couples and helping them find their way to a God centered relationship. He also brought a great sense of humor to those weekends by starting most talks with a joke from his little book. He will be greatly missed by those of us who served with him.

The Heavens Are Rejoicing - they have a new Guardian Angel amongst their ranks with Msgr. Leroy Braden! He lived a Saintly Life here on earth and certainly deserves Eternal Life with Our Heavenly Father! I was his last Principal at St. Christopher's School before he moved to Pearland and what a blessing it was for me to be in this wonderful community with him as Pastor! Not only did Monsignor marry my husband and I, my husband was baptized, received the Holy Eucharist and was confirmed during...

A man of God and a friend to all who knew him. Our sympathy to his family and may he rest in pease for the caring life he led.

My heartfelt condolences to your family. I have thought of Msgr Braden fondly for many years. My sister's Carol Jan and Loretta attended St Christopher's with me in the 50's. What a team - Fr. Braden, Fr Hamilton and Fr Fulkerson. My mother, Marguerite and my father, Bernard(Bunny) maintained a friendship with Fr Braden all their lives. I appreciate what a wonderful man of God Msgr Braden was and what a profoundly positive effect he had on our lives. When I read about some of the abuses...

Dear Braden Family,
Our deepest condolences to all the Braden family. Our family loved Msgr.Braden. He was a very special person to us. He was our angel that we could always count on. He married our daughter and baptize her son just a few years ago. I know that he is in heaven with the rest of the angels. May you find peace and may God Bless all of you

Msgr Braden was a great influence in my life, I credit him for my involvement in the church today. He invited my husband and I to become involved in ministries at St.Helens in our early marriage and he baptized our 3 children. We will miss him although I know he is extremely happy to be there with Jesus.

Msgr. Braden hired me to work at St. Christopher's Church in the 80's and I must say that he was a pleasure to work for and that he was a person that loved people and always took time for everyone. I feel very blessed to have known him. Deepest sympathy to all of his family.

Dear Braden Family-

Our prayers are with you during this time of loss. However, we celebrate the life of Msgr Braden and all he did for the Kingdom of God! May he rest in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ!
