I am so sorry to hear about Roy's passing.

I remember his kindness and how he always offered to accompany my Dad and Mom and I when we had an appointment at Cleveland Clinic. I got a kick out of him as he grumbled about the traffic (Which is a trait shared by myself and my Dad) and how dear Aunt Joann would gently diffuse him.He was indeed passionate about the family tree and I will treasure his findings as I miss him.

There are many, many good things I could say about my Uncle Roy, but what I'd like to focus on here is the massive amount of work he invested in the genealogy of our family. He spent countless hours at courthouse and cemeteries, then carefully logged his findings; he even made copies for many of us. I learned so much about my ancestors -- especially his mom, my beloved grandma -- that I would never have otherwise known. Thank you, Uncle Roy; I'm confident you're already chatting with many of...
