The contributions will be used to start “Goldston Transitional House” which my wife will be starting-up and running on my behalf.  All monies will be tax-deductible.

It is my legacy that I leave behind.  My wife and I have been working on it for the past several years and it has been a piece of comfort that has brought me so much joy and peace being able to work with my wife in planning it.  My wife who is also compassionate about helping others can fulfill not only my legacy but I know without a doubt it will be a job she will enjoy doing as much as I enjoy leaving it for her to complete.

So, I ask all my friends and associates who I have loved thru the years and help.  Please make a contribution regardless of the size so that “Goldston Transitional House can finally come to life.

“I may be gone in body by my spirit will always remain.”

A memorial celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm at Hargett Funeral Service, Inc., 905 E. Market Street, Greensboro.

Not sure what to say?

every time we pass your earthly home in pine hall we speak of you and how much we miss and loved you...now you have a wonderful new resting place in the arms of God until the day we all unite again...we do so much look forward to that day...until then you will always be a part of our hearts

We are eagerly awaiting the day when we see Leroy again and know that never again will we be separated by death...in the meantime we keep him in our hearts just as he is in God's memory....

Sincere condolences to the Goldston Family. Leroy grew up in my childhood neighborhood. May God bless all of you during a difficult time

I will miss Leroy! God bless his family. He is part of my family and we will always love and will never forget him! May God bless you! I Love you Goldston!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

to say our hearts are hurting is such an understatement...but to have known such a wonderful man will help heal the hurt and inspire us all to go forward with the knowledge that for one small moment in time there was light and love and leroy

Leroy was one of my mentors professionally and personally. I am so sorry for your loss. His life was meaningful and touched so many folks who have and still are paying it forward. Leroy planted the seeds of hope. As a result of his encouragement a beautiful forrest is continuing to grow. He will definitely be missed.
